Biography
Dub-L is a New York City producer, DJ and recording artist whose credits include production on Aesop Rock’s Music for Earthworms and MF DOOM’s Viktor Vaughn album Venomous Villain. One half of the trip-hop duo The Controls, he also partnered with DJ Cassidy as Cass & Dubs.
His current instrumental jazz draws on a lifelong love of 1980s jazz, bringing his production background to smooth jazz and jazz-funk. His wider catalog spans hip-hop, R&B and pop.
